The Boys are Back in Town!

Getting out of the hospital was interesting: We kept getting a lot of looks and questions, particularly regarding "twins", "Nope, triplets...still have one more here". Matt was getting a bit tired of all the comments and questions. Imagine what it will be like when we walk out of the hospital for the last time, and if we had Ave with us!

{ Waiting to be discharged * Walking out with Daddy * All snug in the car }

The ride home was uneventful. We got home, gave them their 9pm bottles, put them to bed and finished cleaning up and organizing the stuff they came home with. After that it was time for their next bottle (12am). After that we went to bed. I woke up and did most of the 3am feed myself, just to see if I could (that and Matt had been up since 5am the day before). Matt woke up halfway through their bottles and finished giving Henry his.

We were back up at 6am for their next feed and back to sleep by 6:45am, knowing that Ave would be up in 15 minutes. She decided to be awesome and sleep in until 8am (THANK YOU AVE!). That girl was excited! She was more interested in the babies than she had been in Christmas morning (of course I didn't have a camera). Matt was changing one of the boys, while I fed the other, and she just kept running back and forth between them asking who we each had.

Right now we're doing good. But, of course, exhaustion hasn't set in yet :-P

Matt is going to have to get used to the comments because they'll be non-stop forever and ever :~)

I remember how hard it is with a newborn baby those first few weeks. Can't imagine it with 2 (soon to be 3!). I am praying for all.
