My uncle has been working with someone to put all of the old family videos (we're talking 1950s forward) on DVD.
The first video is my grandparents dancing at their wedding [:'(] Makes me really miss them: My grandma is obviously the bride and my grandpa is the man standing next to the older woman (my great grandma). There's even a video (#12) of my mom's high school graduation party. Me at a day old is #17
Now I'm sitting here crying

I stumbled on your blog yesterday at some point, and forget exactly how. Today I've spent more time that I thought I had reading back and back and back. You're articulate, you're introspective, and you're doing good work writing this blog. A few times I felt tears well up as I read of your pain.
I had trouble getting pregnant back in the early '70s; polycystic ovaries required a surgical wedge resection. And that solved my problems and I had three terrific children, all of whom are married now. My one son and his wife have talked about starting a family; something deep inside is telling me that they have been working at it and it isn't going well.
Mind if I borrow a bit of your courage?
You were such a cute little bambino! How cool that your Uncle's putting these together... makes me wish I could get my hands on some of my family's old movies...
These are amazing. You are so lucky to have these moments on film.
