Please pardon the language that is about to ensue.....

HOLY F*#@! I'm pregnant.
I just got a phone call from the RE's office about my beta, it's 64...I go back on Wednesday for a repeat. I asked her how that number was and she said really good, that they usually look for about 30. Of course on Betabase.info....it shows 168.

I never bothered to test again after Saturday morning, and obviously based on my post last night we were expecting to get told "sorry, try again". I'm beyond shocked!

I'm still in shock. I've had cramping all weekend, but I figured that it was just AF gearing up. I haven't told Matt yet. I'm sure he'll be excited, but I just can't believe it. Of course we'd both mentally prepared ourselves to be moving ahead with the next cycle.

Of course with the number what it is...I am sitting here wondering if it's ectopic, chemical, or too low to be viable. Now I just have to call my prescription company and cancel the order I placed an hour ago.

HOLY $H!T!

~TELLING MATT~
In retrospect I should have put the camera on the other side of the kitchen. I kept trying to position myself so that he would turn toward me at least....oh well. Just ignore me and my ridiculousness: The dogs kept jumping on me.

oh my god!!!! See third time is the charm along with the last vial is the charm! Try not to pay attention to the numbers ok. Just enjoy! Oh my god and holy shit! I just came over to see how you are doing with the neg and pow! What great news! As for the donor not being an open id. I think I said this before but I believe with the donor sibling reg. that it may be possible to have contact in 18 years. Maybe not but like everything in life it usually is ok and you will get through it. If it is really important to have a connection perhaps being able to have contact with a sibling will be enough. Yeah Yeah Yeah! I just told the wife and she is so excited for you. I am thinking positive hcg vibes for you. Matt will be so excited!

I keep re-reading this post, and I just can't believe that it's on MY BLOG!

I'm in amazement. There's a quote I saw on another blog this morning:
'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.'

Congratulations! And, as hard as it may sound, don't worry too much yet about your beta. As I mentioned in my reply on SAIF, I, too, tested BFN before beta, including that morning. And it came back positive - a whopping 16.2! lol But, it continued to double and grow from there.

I was a nervous wreck that entire time so I know how hard it can be. I just wanted to wish you luck and a big giant CONGRATULATIONS - you're pregnant!

I wish you all the best, and congratulation!!!!!!
Btw, that word after "Holy" comes from old Ireland, and really just means "hole in the ground". (My husband told me that one time...so its excused..hehe)
I cant imagine how excited you are!! What a day!

Congrats! My first beta was 51 and compared to the averages on BetaBase, that freaked me out. But, it kept doubling fine and now I'm 6 months pregnant! Just keep in mind that everyones' bodies are different so BetaBase doesn't really mean much in your specific situation. Just try to enjoy this moment knowing that you *are* pregnant and try not stress about it... too much! (I know it's kinda impossible!)

Can't wait to hear Matt's reaction!
