Well day two of "Operation House Makeover" is done. I feel like I'm having buyers remorse and it's the dumbest thing: I love the color, the house needed to get painted, and I'm still asking "Should we have done this", "Should we have spent the money on this". Someone please smack me. Here's what we started with.

Also, got my hair done today...cut and color.
She straightened my hair afterward, I never straighten it and it actually looks OK. I don't love it, but it looks nice. I'm much more of a curly hair kind of person. I do like the cut though and the color.

I loooove your new hair! She did a beautiful job. I think the layers will work well with your curls too, so that's not at all something to worry about. It'll give your curls more bounce.

I love that yellow! I think it's beautiful. Your hair looks great, too! Whenever I get my hair done they always straighten it, which is something I never ever do, but I like how it turns out.

Your house is so cute! I love the trim around the windows. The yellow is lovely looking, I think you will be very happy when all is said and done.
And your hair! It looks FAB! I really like the straight look on you too. My hair looks very similar in length and texture. I straighten mine every day because I can't deal with the puff that develops over the day, but I love lazy days around the house when I can leave it be. If you do decide to straighten it more often, I'd recommend a really good flat iron if you don't have one (like a CHI) and let your hair dry naturally before straightening to prevent damage and drying out.

Don't kick yourself. Cut and color on your hair is great! And Im a huge fan of yellow. Fits your home wonderfully. And If I do say so myself, I have pretty dog gone good taste! ;o) Just don't make me go shopping for clothes! ;o)
I love your HAIR! I have naturally curly (FRIZZY) hair and during the summer, straight is not an option. Well, I guess it is an option, but it is a waste of time.

Well Jess - gotta say I REALLY like the straighter version! Curls are cool but I think the straight version looks great on you. Just my humble opinion. (P.S. I love that RuPaul quote.)

I am also more of a curly girl myself and always have to convince my hairdresser not to straighten it after she cuts it.

The house is looking great! Love yellow houses, they're so warm and welcoming! And I think your hair is cute! I'm the same way, though--I'll stick with the curly to keep from having to spend all that time on straightening. Just pop in some mousse and you're good to go!
