It's been one of those days! I had every intention of posting these last night; obviously that didn't happen. So, here it is, our Weekend (and Monday) in Review.
I really think we need to consider mandating a 3 day weekend; 2 days is certainly not enough! By Sunday night you're only just getting into the swing of things and it's time to clean up and get ready for another work week!
Saturday was spent cleaning! Very exciting stuff! We scrubbed the floors on hands and knees, washed windows and curtains, vacuumed and dusted, stripped the beds, and cleaned the closets. The house looks, and smells, so much better now. Not that it smelled before, but now it has that wonderful soapy-clean smell.
Sunday we worked outside most of the day, trying to finish our hen house. The girls will be coming home on Friday.
All of the 2x4 sections will be fenced in with chicken wire. We still have to do the wire, as well as finish the trim work, the linoleum floor, and finish the windows.
Tonight after dinner, I got a lot of things planted outside and watered the garden. I actually got Matt to go for a short walk with me and the dogs, it was fun! Then we worked outside on the hen house until it was too dark to see. I came in and finished my tablecloth for the kitchen: Tada!
Is it Friday yet?

The hen house looks great. I know the girls will love it. The tablecloth looks really cute, too.
Weekends can be just as hectic as the work week. I try to keep up with stuff during the week, but it never seems to work.
Hope your week si going well.
The hen house is adorable! I love the flowers on the side it's a nice touch.
Your tablecloth is so cute! Very nice. And I'm so excited for you that you're getting hens - I really would love to get some too, but I think it just won't work in a 1-bedroom high-rise apartment...so I'll have to wait on that one. :)
You asked about my protocol for my IUI and to make sure you see my responce I thought I would post it here.
I did Femara (loved it) and took it at night cd3-7. I took 5mg a night. We used OPKs cd11-14 to check for ovulation, test with 2nd urine of am. I didn't get a + on my own. If I had I would have gone in that day for monetering. Since I didn't I went in cd14 and had an u/s. It showed two mature follicles and a few little ones. We triggered right then and there at 9 am. The next morning we had our IUI. DH gave his sample at 7 am and then we came back at 9 for our IUI. I stayed on the table for over 30 minutes before going home. If you have any questions about meds of anything you can email me at kittylove516 at yahoo dot com
PS The hen house looks great.
