This defines us: We are definitely the "two crazies"
Let me cite some examples:
*Last night I really wanted something specific to eat. I could remember every taste, smell, and tiny detail....I could NOT for the life of me remember what it was. I still haven't remembered.
*On Monday I was outside working the roto-tiller, after I was done I took the rake and started removing the grass. I'm bent over in the most unflattering of positions, and yelling to Matt about how this would be easier if we had chickens, that they could just pick through the soil. I look up, dirt on my cheecks, sweat trickling down my forehead, hair all over, and see two kids (boy and a girl, 16-17 years old) walking down the cow path staring at me.
*I come home from work and lay on my front lawn and in my flower beds, with a camera, taking pictures of things that are invisible to the cars driving past.
*I built a snowman this winter...cutest thing...in the middle of a snow storm, without a kid in sight...some kids (8-10) walked by and started laughing at me.
Well, maybe it isn't us that is crazy, just me...oh well. You can tell I'm really phased by what others think of me.
On Monday night, after the teenager-chicken-gardening experience...I turned to Matt and said, "They probably think we're crazy", before I could finish my thought, Matt says "yea, but we know we really are crazy!"

bwha-ha-ha!! half of this describes me!!! and yes, I'm crazy!! I was also homeschooled..... hmmmmm.... and have talked about getting chickens... are you blogging about my life???
LOL Too funny! I wasn't homeschooled, but my sister was. Matt and I live in the town where we grew up and were never impressed with the schools (too much politics), thus why we plan to homeschool.
CandiceM...what's your blog url?
Jess,
First of all: Thanks for leaving a post on my blog!
I am really, really sorry to read about your azoospermia. I can totally relate to what you said in your post about it having been your biggest fear. I'll pray for you and your husband as you process this difficult news and decide what's next. I'll also keep an eye on your blog. Thanks again for saying hi.
jess,
it's www.growinginourheartscan.blogspot.com
I think everyone is a little crazy, in some way. The people you have to worry about are the ones who do not think they are crazy.
Follow your bliss, where ever it takes you... It sounds like you are doing what you love.
