Today was the first day that we were able to go to the town pool (which fortunately is "free", which we certainly pay enough in taxes). This was Ave's first time in a real pool since she's been able to move around on her own. Last summer we did lessons, but she wasn't walking yet.
She had a B L A S T! She was putting her face in the water and kicking and blowing bubbles and just being a fish (which isn't surprising). We missed sign ups last week for swimming lessons: I had to go back this evening, to find out if there was room in one of the PACA classes (parent and child aquatics)...so we start tomorrow. Hopefully the weather is decent on a regular basis so that we can actually go.

(and can I just say how hard it is to find a swimsuit that actually COVERS her body and doesn't have Dora or some other character on it!)

She is an absolute cutie pie! Glad you guys had fun!
Oh, she looks so big in these pictures! Just adorable!
I feel your pain about the swim suits...it's even worse trying to find one for Miss O. I don't want her to look like a teenager at 7!
she's so cute :)
